Kennedy Mitchum, the brains behind making a huge statement by getting the definition of racism updated and changed to be more specific of its meaning. She says it all started when people would argue with her about the definition of what racism was defined as and she realized the problem was Merriam Webster’s definition.
The official dictionary defines racism as "a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race."
