Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms Talks Gov. Brian Kemp's Decision

It’s been announced from Governor Kemp, some businesses would reopen Friday April 24th. Opening immediately will be places of worship. Several other businesses such as gyms, hair and nail salons and bowling alleys will follow suit in the coming days. Business owners are under guidelines to follow strict social-distancing and hygiene requirements.


In an interview with Chris Cuomo on his show, “Cuomo Prime Time”, Mayor Lance Bottoms, is trying to understand the Governors reasoning of reopening businesses. "What I know is that when I look at the data that we receive from our public health department each day, our numbers are going up," she said.
