“The house that Kobe built,” is said to be too small to hold his public viewing. News is coming out that a meeting has taken place to discuss Bryant's upcoming public memorial. The Staple Center holds about 20,000 people. Another consideration is the Los Angeles Coliseum which can hold about 80,000 people and more people can attend the memorial in the coliseums surrounding parks.

In other Kobe Bryant news, Bryant is to be honored at the 92nd Oscars on February 9th. The academy says in a statement, “We can confirm that Kobe Bryant will be acknowledged in the telecast.” No word on if he will be a part of the annual “In Memoriam” segment to recognize those who have died in the past year.
