How to Get From Gatwick Airport to London Heathrow Airport?
Considering types of transfer from one airport to another it is always a question of money, time and comfort. More we spend faster we get there and in a comfortable limousine. Less money we have, longer the journey is and probably less ‘cosy’. I will start with the most comfortable option which is, in my opinion, the cheapest when three persons or more are considered to travel. Private Transfer from Gatwick to Heathrow -TAXI With three or more of you private transfer is the option to focus on. Transfers cost approx. 60-70GBP for up to 4passengers. It gets slightly more expensive for more passengers as bigger cars have to be used, but is still relatively cheap, even comparing it to coach prices, where for 5 of you you would have to pay 100GBP and would be traveling with 50 other people with no room goldsilver for legs etc. It takes approx. an 1hour to get from Gatwick to Heathrow (transfer time depends on road traffic). Drivers wait for passengers at arrivals which helps a lot when you don’t know the airport, and saves precious time. You may want to get a quote and/or book private transfer Gatwick – Heathrow (taxi service). Coach There are number of coaches at Gatwick and AFAIR single ticket, one way is around 20GBP. It takes approx. 1hour 20 minutes from when you enter the bus to actualy get out of it at Terminal 1,2,3 at Heathrow. Long walks might be involved as it doesnt stop near terminals 3 or 2. It isn’t thet bad with terminal 3. Trouble is with terminal 4 and 5. If nothing has changed, you will probably need to get to another dedicated airport terminals transfer bus to get to numbers four or five.
